Dr. Dagmar Waldzus is a partner in the Hamburg office and has been practicing law with a focus on corporate law and distribution and sales law since 1997.

In the field of sales and distribution law with particular attention to cartel law as well as to licensing and franchising, Dagmar Waldzus advises licensors and franchisors when (master) licensing and franchising agreements are being set up and elaborated. She drafts and reviews the entire contractual documentation associated therewith and supports start-up-companies  as well as established franchise systems to set up, develop, structure, expand and optimize their franchise businesses.

Another focus of Dagmar Waldzus’ work relates to corporate law / M&A where she specializes in accompanying transactions and providing advice for business transactions. She advises companies on all matters relating to corporate law, particularly with regard to restructuring and joint venture participations in Germany and abroad as well as with regard to corporate governance issues. Dagmar Waldzus develops corporate compliance programs, drafts internal guidelines and principles (code of ethics / code of conduct) designed to enforce ethical behaviour within the company and dedicated to combat corruption. She further assists companies in implementing corporate compliance programs and regularly gives presentations on topics related to corporate governance.
